House cleaning tips

CARPET STAINS
Say goodbye to carpet cleaner. Dab a bit of toothpaste on carpet and rub it in to remove stains.

CLEANING THE LAMPSHADE
Use a lint roller to easily clean dust off your lampshade.

CLEANING VOTIVES
To remove old candles from the votives, freeze them. The wax will shrink and pop right out of the votive.

BRAND NEW SHOWER HEAD
Fill a bag with vinegar and tie to the shower head. Leave it there overnight and see how sparkling clean it is in the morning.

STAINLESS STEEL
Make stainless steel shine like never before using Cream of Tartar.

LOST SMALL ITEMS
You want to clean, but you don't want to suck up lost item into the vacuum. Use pantyhose until you find what you are looking for.

ELECTRONIC SCREENS
Make sure there is no dust on your electronics with this common household item - the coffee filter.

TARNISH REMOVER
Remove tarnish easily with baking soda.

PUMICE STONE
A wet pumice stone will clean a dirty oven faster than any spray-on product.

CLEANING THE MICROWAVE
To clean your microwave oven, microwave a cup of water with some baking soda in it until it's boiling.
That eliminates odors and makes it super easy to wipe away all that stuck-on stuff.

GRIMEY OVEN
Place citrus peels and water in a pan and turn your oven onto 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
Once it's cool, you will be able to scrub away grime more easily.

CLEANING FRUITS AND VEGGIES
Do you like your produce clean, but don't want to spend a ton to do it?
Use white vinegar.
